Attracting Foreign Sports Investments in Egypt: Collaboration with Saudi Businessman

In line with the directives of His Excellency Dr. Ashraf Sobhy, the Egyptian Minister of Youth and Sports, to attract foreign sports investments to Egypt, a significant meeting was held in Cairo. The meeting featured prominent Saudi businessman Mr. Suleiman bin Ahmed Al-Omair, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al-Omair Sons Group, known for its expertise in rubber, tartan, and related derivatives.

The primary focus of this meeting was to explore avenues for joint cooperation that could enhance the sports investment landscape in Egypt. Key topics discussed included establishing the executive foundations for collaborative investments and the potential opening of a headquarters for Al-Omair International Group. This headquarters would be dedicated to the manufacturing of sports supplies within the Arab Republic of Egypt.

These initiatives aim to bolster the local sports infrastructure, create new job opportunities, and develop the domestic production of sports equipment. By fostering such investments, Egypt positions itself as a promising destination for international sporting events, thereby enhancing its reputation in the global sports arena.
